What is a reciprocal?
We use reciprocals in division problems involving fractions.
The reciprocal, or inverse, of a fraction is simply the fraction written in the opposite order. The numerator becomes the denominator and the denominator becomes the numerator. We do not say that these fractions are equal, because they are not.
