B.  Group Details

    2.  Length:  One Week

C.  Your Assignment:  Put together an OPTIONAL TOUR for your group.

    1.  It's up to you to promote this tour (design some type of brochure)- This will be a HALF DAY tour.

    2.  It's up to you to determine a fee per person based on:

        a.  Coach Costs ($500- if needed)  Note:  You may not need the coach.

        b.  Attraction Admission (to be determined by you)

        c.  Charge per person (to be determined by you)

    3.  It's up to you to determine what your special interest is....and what you'll be focusing on.

D.  Assignment Questions.  Use the following questions as a guideline in helping you complete this assignment.

    1.  Which destination did you choose and why?

    2.  What type of half day tour will you be putting together?

    3.  Is there an entrance fee?  If so, then how much per person?  What is the amount in profit?

    4.  How will you collect the fees?  Will you collect the fees before departure? 

    5.  How do you plan to promote this tour?  It will not be featured in the brochure.

    6.  Is your tour within walking distance of the hotel?  Will you need the cost of the coach?

    7.  In a paragraph or two, describe what you will focus on.  What is your specialty?
