The opportunities for beginning a career in tourism are still out there…..but only for those that have the specific training and knowledge that is in demand. Five courses make up the basic coursework because we believe that an education in tourism and preparation for the field should not take long! These five courses are extensive and cover everything you need to know to add to...or begin a career in tourism.
Associate of Applied Science for Direct Employment, Business: The tourism coursework is part of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business. Pima accepts coursework from other (approved) colleges and many students have applied their tourism coursework towards a two-year business degree.
