Alpha Beta Chi Chapter is a recognized five-star chapter which has earned local, regional and international awards from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

The chapter was chartered on January 1, 1976 at the West Campus of Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, and is now represented at all six of the College's campuses.

Membership requirements include completion of at least 12 credit hours and a minimum cumulative of 3.5 grade point average.

The chapter bylaws were accepted as amended on April 26, 2013.

Southern District Leadership Conference  Will be held at Pima Community College West Campus. This conference is for Arizona Phi Theta Kappa Southern District Chapters.
